Water Main rehabilitation using Compact Pipe: Ethekwini 

As part of Durban’s ongoing initiatives to reduce its non-revenue water, a 4000m section of water main (225mm and 250mm diameter) was earmarked for upgrade using Compact Pipe. Compact Pipe is a close-fit lining pipeline renovations solution specifically designed for water, sewer and gas usage. This system occupies a small site footprint and is also flexible enough to accommodate various bends within the host pipeline. These attributes, along with a quick installation time, made it an ideal renovation solution for this project, which was situated in highly congested areas.
